Government of India - Premium Prize Bonds 1964

This is Premium Prize Bonds1964 issued by Government of India in my collection.

Below is some description about this Premium Prize Bond.

To attract public and to raise the maximum funds, Government of India issued a number of Prize Bonds with the eligibility of the Bonds for their participation for bi-annual draw for lucrative cash prizes.

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA - PREMIUM PRIZE BONDS 1964

Issued subject to the provisions of the Goverment of India, Ministry of Finance Notification No.34(1) - NS/63 Dated 16th December 1963.

This is National Savings Certificate No.210A issued by Government of India (Ministry of Finance) according to "Equivalents of Money" 1989 Series One "Bonds and National Savings Certificates" book written by Mr.Manik Jain & Mr.K.K.Kathotia.

Value of this Premium Prize Bond : Rs.5 (Five Rupees)

Colour of the Bond : Carmine on buff

Size of the Bond : 140 x 175 mm
