This is Victoria Jubilee Museum Vijayawada Centenary (1887-1987) Souvenir  published by Archaeology Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1987.

I purchased this Souvenir from Archaeology Museum, Kakinada which is a branch of Department of Archaeology of Andhra Pradesh State. Also herewith enclosing the Museum's purchase bill to me alongwith the Souvenir image.

Damerla Rama Rao Art Gallery Rajahmundry Picture Post Cards

These are Damerla Rama Rao Art Gallery Rajahmundry Picture Post Cards in my collection.

Sri Damerla Rama Rao garu (1897 -  1925) who is also lived on the same period of  famous Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma.

Like Raja Ravi Varma garu, Sri Damerla Rama Rao garu (1897-1925) is also one of the extraordinary indian painter of vintage era of Pre Independence Period. He lived in Rajahmundry.

In Rajahmundry of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh State there will be a beautiful gallery with his name. I bought these picture post cards from this Art Gallery during my recent visit to Rajahmundry. These post cards give some example of fine and extraordinary art work of Sri Damerla Rama Rao garu. These post cards are only few pieces for depicting his art. In my collection i have some museum post cards also.

Whenever i went to any place for my office work then in the leisure time i am roaming for museums and other cultures places in that location because i want to gather information about several cultural, archaeological and other topics.

6-7 years ago i went to calcutta once for attending some of my office work. At that time i went to Indian Museum, Asiatic Society and other places.

At that time i bought some publications, post cards etc. from Indian Museum.

Now i have 4 pieces of Indian Museum, Calcutta post cards. 

This is Preaching Buddha statue post card from Indian Museum, Calcutta and according to them this statue from Loriyan Tangai provence.
